The
Halton Doula Group is a team of doulas who are also childbirth educators
and lactation consultants. We are committed to providing families
with exceptional emotional, physical and educational
support
and
service through the prenatal, birthing and postpartum periods.
While you are under the care
of a midwife, a family physician and/or obstetrician, your doula
will provide support both in your home and/or in hospital, giving
you the best continuity of care possible.
It
is their goal to increase confidence and decrease fears with respect
for you and your birth and parenting choices - allowing for a more
positive, peaceful birth and postpartum process. |
